Not networking from SFML-Network ?
« on: June 26, 2016, 02:49:16 AM »
Hello !

I was browsing the documentation of Otter, and see no class like Packet or Socket.
So, the network library from SFML is currently not within Otter ?

Thanks !

Hey Linkpy. This forum isnt browsed frequently and pretty much everyone that uses otter is on the Slack team. There you can chat about Otter and other things. To join the Slack you can use the link http://otter2d.com/slack.php
In regards to the post. I dont think Otter is going to have networking support as it was brought up a couple of times but no one really worked on it.
Anyways, Hope you join Slack and maybe link or post the question there.

I currently have no plans to introduce networking into Otter, but the project is open source and if you're familiar with SFML's methods then there's no reason you cant just use it directly in your project!

Yes and the binding of SMFL in .Net don't include network stuff.
